I recently had my sister, brother, and brother-in-law visit. It was my brother-in-law's first trip to NYC so while we hit up some non-tourist traditional places, I wanted to make sure he saw Times Square. I work less than 10 blocks from TS so I often rush through trying to get beyond the blocks of tourists in record time. When we visited TS it was rainy which apparently dampered the foot traffic allowing us to enjoy our time there.
I wish I could remember my feelings the first time I visited NYC when I was about 10 years old.
