Recently I have been a little obsessed with sneaker wedges, like many my favs are the Isabel Marants but with a price tag tinkering around $700, I just couldnt do it. I did however preorder the Ash Beas, after I saw how quickly the Birdy's went. So today I was running errands in SOHO when low and behold a Believer was made out of me. Steve Madden has gotten into the game along with a few others (to much fail) and came up with a nice sneaker wedge as well. Lets not kid one another, it is a knock off (SM is kinda known for slightly re-styling a shoe and giving it a consumer friendly price tag). I got mine in black to wear all year long, and of course so it wouldnt compete with my Bea's, Bea's are an original design, at least I think so....but I could be bias.

I have been gazing at these through ioffer, but scared to purchase, lol.
I called them at both SOHO locations but they said they are sold out except for size 8 at one and everything below size 8 at the other location, lol.
They will be getting a new shipment this weekend but it will be burgundy and silver. The sales girl had no clue when they would be restocking the black ones so I have to keep checking back.
She also didn't know what other stores sold them. Sheesh!

Hi. They actually fit a little large, Im the perfect 10.5 but few companies make that size. I purchased the 10, and they were comfortably roomy. They told me, they have navy blue coming in August. I have pics of the other two styles, I'll post. (Yeah, they were a lil clueless as to ship dates when I was there)

Yay!!! So glad you were able to find a pair in 11! I know you"ll enjoy them. I have yet to wear mine (but I will). I was just thinking that with velcro straps they'll be perfect for traveling.

I got the 10 and they fit fine!
The salesperson I spoke to told me they run true to size but you said they ran big so I ordered them hoping I would be lucky and I was!
I removed the innersole piece and tried them on with just the wooden block in there and they are super roomy.
They must be swimming on your feet!
That's EXACTLY what I want to use them for, travel! I will be doing a lot of traveling this year and I don't like cold feet on the plane so these will be an easy on and off for me and good for keeping my feet warm. Plus super stylish :D

I have a feeling Steve Madden will bring out more colors because they are making money with these sneakers. The salesperson said they fly off the shelves.

Guys, they are only available IN STORE. You have to go to the SOHO store to get them. Maybe you can call and see if they will process it over the phone for you.
They are not available online at all.

Hi there, I love your post and after flirting with wedge sneakers for a couple of months I decided that I actually like the Steve Madden hilight/believer better than the Isabel Marant ones. Maybe because they're MUCH cheaper? Maybe! But also because the SM ones are sleeker as opposed to looking like a "moon shoe" I still think $150/$200 is a lot for a pair of shoes, but if I'm sure I'll wear if more than once, I don't have a problem splurging. Question though: do you know the difference between the SM believer and hilight sneaks? They look absolutely the same and yet, the believer ones are $50 more expensive. Any ideas? I think I'm going to get the hilight ones... (I saw the believer ones at SM store in SOHO, NY, and I think there's more variety of colors than the hilight ones.)

I also noticed that SM came out with the Hilight, and I don't see the difference between those and the Believer. As you mentioned the Believers are about $50 more. I'm digging the blue/yellow and pink/gray combo. Alas, I have three pairs of sneaker wedges, four might be over the top. Go for it!!
